Microneedling creates micro-channels on the skin surface that stimulates a healing response. It increases the production of collagen and elastin to improve skin tone thereby reducing enlarged pores, diminishing scars or stretch marks, fading dark spots and smoothing wrinkles over time. It can also restore hair growth of eyebrows and hairline. Microneedling is a comfortable, low risk procedure with long term results. As needed, sessions may be done every four to six weeks for three to six sessions to complete a course of treatments.

 

Microneedling may be performed on the face, neck, scalp, stomach, arms, or thighs. The treatment site will be "rosy" for the first day or two after microneedling and it takes approximately two weeks for the skin to heal and reveal improvements.
